Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic juvenile and an assault with a deadly weapon of a second male Hispanic juvenile.
Deputies from the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department responded to the 5000 block of Live Oak Street in the city of Cudahy regarding a report of shots fired at the location. Upon their arrival, they discovered two male Hispanic juveniles suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and rendered aid to both victims. Unfortunately, one of the victims was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
There have been no arrests. The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there is no additional information.
