Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult in the city of Monrovia.
Officers from the Monrovia Police Department responded to the 100 block of E. Olive Avenue, Monrovia, regarding a call of shots fired at the location.
As officers were responding they received multiple calls of a fight at the same location. When officers arrived, they found the victim in the rear parking lot, with apparent gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
Monrovia Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing. There is no additional information available at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are assisting Monrovia Police Department with a shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., on the 100 block of E. Olive Avenue in the city of Monrovia.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
