VEHICLE VS. BICYCLIST COLLISION 
On January 4, at approximately 7:50 PM, the Simi Valley Police Department responded to the area of Stearns St. and Los Angeles Ave. reference a vehicle vs. bicyclist traffic collision. The bicyclist unfortunately sustained major injuries.
According to the initial information and preliminary investigation, it appears the bicyclist was traveling northbound across Los Angeles Ave west of Stearns St. when it was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound Los Angeles Ave.
The vehicle fled the scene and was described by a witness as a late 1990’s to early 2000’s gold Toyota 4 door sedan. The vehicle probably has significant damage to the front or right front side.
