LOCATION: 16000 Block of Wimbleton Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Roger Guyton, 68-years-old, Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): Female Adult, 58-years-old, Resident of Victorville, Name Withheld Pending Next of Kin Notification
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 4:17 a.m., Victorville deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Wimbleton Drive for the report of a deceased female. When deputies arrived, they found the woman deceased inside the home, with gunshot wounds.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded and assumed the investigation.
Homicide detectives identified the suspect as Roger Guyton and learned he was in a bedroom with the victim when two other occupants in the home heard gunshots and called 9-1-1.
Guyton was arrested and booked in at the High Desert Detention Center where he remains without bail.
