*2nd UPDATE* #LASD Shooting Death investigation near the 1800 block of Hawkbrook Dr., #SanDimas

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult in the city of San Dimas.

As more information became available, investigators learned some of the victim’s personal property was taken, which prompted investigators to further investigate the possibility of a robbery.  Investigators are also looking into the possibility that the victim was followed to the location.  At this time, this incident appears to be an isolated crime; however, investigators are continuing with their investigation.  No arrests have been made at this time. 

The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there is no additional information.

1st UPDATE IS AS FOLLOWS:

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.

Deputies from the San Dimas Sheriff’s Station responded to the 1800 block of Hawkbrook Drive, San Dimas, regarding a medical rescue call. 

When deputies arrived, they found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel also responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. 

A suspect has not been identified and no arrests have been made at this time. 

The investigation is ongoing, and currently there is no additional information.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 1800 block of Hawbrook Drive, in the city of San Dimas regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 6:48 p.m.
 
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. 
 
There is no additional information available at this time.
