Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult in the Unincorporated Area of Torrance.
On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at approximately 10:13 a.m., deputies from Carson Station responded to a person down call for service on the 23100 block of S. Mariposa Avenue.
When the deputies arrived on scene, they discovered a male adult suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Tuesday, November, at approximately 10:13 a.m., at the 23100 block of S. Mariposa Avenue, Torrance.
The male adult victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
