Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the suspicious death of a male Hispanic adult. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at approximately 10:45 p.m.
Palmdale Station deputies responded to the 33000 block of Largo Vista Road, Llano, regarding a vehicle fire call. Deputies arrived at the location and contacted LA County Fire Department, who had extinguished a vehicle which was on fire.
Upon extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered a male inside the vehicle suffering from severe burns.
LA County Fire Department pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Homicide investigators arrived on scene and assumed the investigation.
During their investigation, investigators discovered the incident had stemmed from a domestic dispute. Homicide investigators have identified a murder suspect; however, his/her identity will not be revealed at this time.
It is believed the suspect may have fled to the Rosamond area in Kern County.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
