**UPD** #LASD Homicide Bureau Responded to a Shooting Death Investigation, 1500 Blk of W. 105th St, #LosAngeles

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.
 
Deputies from South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded to the 1500 block of West 105th Street in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles regarding a gunshot victim call.
 
The incident occurred on Friday, October 6, 2023, at approximately 2:14 a.m.
 
Deputies were flagged down by a citizen who directed them to the 1500 block of West 105th Street after the citizen heard gunshots and observed a male black adult down at the scene. The citizen informed deputies that after they heard gunshots, they saw two vehicles leaving the scene.
 
Deputies detained two vehicles matching the description of the vehicles seen leaving the scene by the citizen. A total of 6 people were detained for questioning as potential witnesses.
 
The victim, a male black adult in his mid to late 40’s suffered several gunshot wounds to the upper torso and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information at this time.
 
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there is no additional information.
