Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female adult.
Deputies from Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to the 44900 block of Valley Central Way in the city of Lancaster regarding a gunshot victim call.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at approximately 2:53 AM.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they located a White female, 40-45 years of age, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A White male adult, 30-35 years of age, was also found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there is no additional information.
