Three Perris Residents Arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle in Chino Hills

INCIDENT: Arrest made for PC 496(d) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: 13000 block of Peyton Drive, Chino Hills, CA
SUSPECT(S): Carlos Lopez, 40-years of age, resident of Perris
Meghan Cardinel, 36-years of age, resident of Perris
Angel Parra Moreno, 23-years of age, resident of Perris.
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Sergeant Stacy Tarver conducted a vehicle check on a red Kia Sorento with Massachusetts license plates, in a parking lot on Peyton Drive. Deputies contacted the occupants as they exited the vehicle. A records check on the vehicle found it to be stolen out of the city of Perris in July of 2023. During a search of the vehicle, a pair of brass knuckles, drug paraphernalia, and a small bag of narcotics were recovered.
Carlos Lopez, Meghan Cardinel, and Angel Moreno were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
