INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, around 10:34 PM, Pomona Police responded to a solo vehicle traffic collision on Garey Ave north of Pearl St. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found that a motorcyclist had collided with the eastern sidewalk of Garey Ave. The Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to the scene, but tragically, the driver had already passed away. The identification of the driver is pending the Los Angeles County Coroner's investigation.
