Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult.
On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at approximately 8:05 a.m. deputies from Temple Station responded to the 3300 block of Muscatel Avenue in the city Rosemead, regarding a medical emergency call.
When deputies arrived, they discovered the victim, an Asian male, 50-55 years of age, suffering from abrasions to his upper torso. The victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators learned the victim was involved in a physical altercation with another male and had been pushed down to the ground during the incident. The male suspect was last seen north on Muscatel Avenue and out of view.
There is no additional suspect or suspect vehicle information at this time.
