Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult in the city of Compton.
On Saturday, July 29, 2023, at approximately 4:03 p.m., deputies from Compton Station responded to a gunshot victim call for service in the 2000 block of North Santa Fe Avenue.
When the deputies arrived on scene, they discovered a male Hispanic adult suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso. Compton Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
