Wilshire Division Officers have arrested a suspect who has previously targeted the Melrose Village area of Los Angeles. Thanks to an alert resident, the suspect fled, leaving his vehicle behind. Wilshire officers recognized the vehicle from a December burglary series and conducted an imediate follow-up to the suspect's residence. The suspect was located in Southwest Division and was taken into custody after he fled and hid. He will be booked for residential burglary and detectives will assess the number of recent burglaries he may had been involved in.
