Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult. The incident occurred on Monday, July 3, 2023, at approximately 4:44 a.m.
Investigators have learned that Palmdale Station deputies responded to an “assault with a deadly weapon” call near the intersection of 75th Street E and Avenue Q, in the city of Palmdale. Upon arriving on scene, deputies discovered the victim, approximately 50-55 years old suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The male adult was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Homicide investigators are canvassing the area for evidence and witnesses.
This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
