Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female Hispanic adult that occurred on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at approximately 6:07 a.m., in the 15500 block of Fellowship Street in the unincorporated area of Valinda.

Detectives have learned that Industry Station deputies responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim call.  Prior to the deputies’ arrival, the female adult victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
 
Preliminary investigation revealed the female was a victim of a drive by shooting while she was outside in front of the location.

There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information.

This incident is being investigated as gang related.

This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
