NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Industry Station with a barricaded armed suspect. The incident was reported Saturday, May 6, 2023 at approximately 5:33 p.m., on the 1100 block of Dovey Avenue in the unincorporated area of Whittier.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
