The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau is investigating allegations of the sexual assault of two female juveniles by private soccer coach, 65-year-old Ernandes Dasilva. The incidents occurred between 2011 and 2022 when Mr. Dasilva gave private soccer lessons in the city of Westlake Village.
Mr. Dasilva was arrested on May 2, 2023, and booked at South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station with a bail of $550,000.00. Mr. Dasilva posted bail and was released.
Based on the nature of the allegations and Mr. Dasilva’s access to children, detectives believe there may be additional unidentified victims. Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying any such victims.
