Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing to assist Alhambra Police Department personnel investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult. The incident occurred on Friday April 7, 2023 at approximately 9:24 PM.
 
Officers from Alhambra Police Department responded to the Intersection of South Almansor Street and East Bay Street in the City of Alhambra regarding a shots fired / gunshot victim call.
 
When officers arrived on scene, they located a Black male,  40-45 years of age, sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso.  The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
 
The investigation is on going, and currently there is no additional information.

NARRATIVE:  
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to the intersection of South Almansor Street and East Bay Street, Alhambra, to assist Alhambra Police Department personnel investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man.
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.
