The Cedar Grove Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle theft, along with multiple parked vehicles being entered last night during the early morning hours in the area of Beech Street and Mawal Drive. Three juveniles have been taken into custody. A stolen red 2006 Mitsubishi out of Elizabeth New Jersey was recovered. Multiple vehicles were entered in that area. The incidents occurred between 2:30 A.M.. and 4 A.M... The investigation is ongoing and we are asking residents to check their video systems for any video that may have captured the suspects activities.
