Sheriff Scott Wriggelsworth announces that Major Sam L. Davis, Jail Administrator for the past 10 years at Ingham County Sheriff’s Office has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Jail Association (AJA), which is the final authority on all matters pertaining to the management of the AJA.

The AJA’s mission is “To be the voice and leader for jail personnel with a commitment to the community by upholding the values of safety and security, professionalism and humane treatment of offenders”.

Sam's leadership and vision play a vital role in the efficient operation of the jail at the Ingham County Sheriff's Office. His leadership and vision will now have the same effect on jail operations all across the country.

Our community should be proud of Sam and this significant accomplishment.
