Audrain County tornado sirens to be tested on the first Tuesday of each month at 1 pm unless there is severe weather.
Audrain County officials have agreed to begin testing their tornado sirens on a common schedule. The cities of Farber, Laddonia, Mexico, Rush Hill, and Vandalia will start conducting audible siren tests on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm beginning Tuesday, February 2, 2010. The tests will be skipped if there is an active severe thunderstorm watch or warning, or tornado watch or warning.
