**Community Notification** Up to $10,000 Reward for information regarding the Major Phillip Wise shooting 12/24/2009.

**COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION**

On Christmas Eve of 2009, the community suffered a great loss when Salvation Army Major Philip Wise was shot and killed in front of his three small children behind the Salvation Army at 1505 West 18th Street.

Major Wise worked for the Salvation Army for nearly 16 years. The last 3 years Major Wise worked directly in the Baring Cross area helping those who were in need.

People in the Pike Avenue area and across the city are outraged by this cowardly act of shooting down an unarmed man, who has given so much to people in need, in front of his small children.

A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this terrible act.

To give the community a safety net to provide information, a phone number has been established where people can remain completely anonymous when providing information to the police.

Please help your community recover from this senseless tragedy and make your city safer for you, your family and your friends. Members of the community with *any* information are encouraged to call 501.680.8439. This phone will be answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
