CSX will continue rail work tomorrow (1/19/2010). Work will start approx 9am. Crossings at Myrtle, England & College.

Greetings:

APD will again be assisting with traffic control tomorrow as a CSX rail replacement project continues. Due to unforeseen maintenance delays, the necessary tasks could not be completed today and will continue in the morning.

It is anticipated that CSX will not start work until after 9am, which should cause very little impact on our morning rush hour and school bus routes.

Once work commences, the crossings at Myrtle Street, England Street and College Avenue will be closed. APD and Town Public Works will be on hand to assist motorist with detours and try to limit the inconvenience to our traveling public.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,

Chief Goodman
