8th annual Dr. MLK Tribute scheduled for Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. Event held at Civic Center East, 8969 Dunn Rd., Hazelwood. 
On Sunday, Jan. 17, starting at 7 p.m., the Hazelwood Community Enrichment Commission will be hosting its 8th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Tribute. The event will be held at Civic Center East, 8969 Dunn Road, in Hazelwood.
Guest speakers include St. Louis County Executive Charlie A. Dooley, Cozy Marks III of the Normandy School District, State Representative Margo McNeil, Rev. Sammie Jones of the Dr. MLK Missouri State Celebration Commission, Mayor Matthew Robinson of Hazelwood, and Miss Hazelwood 2009-2010 Rachel Robin.
Music will be performed by soloist Gustavo Perez and the Crossroads Preparatory School Jazz Band. Cozy Marks III will lead the audience in a memorial candlelighting ceremony at the end of the program. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
