Robbery Risk: In parks/open spaces be aware of your surroundings and do not display valuables/small electronics. Incidents of robbery have occured to victims providing opportunity when out in public. This includes parks, recreational areas, bus stops, etc. Displaying items of value attract the criminal and make you a target. Also, if driving and parking your car before using a park/open space, do not leave valuables visible in your vehicle. Having a cell phone and identification with you are recommended but avoid being distracted and talking or listening to electronic devices.
