For Immediate Release
Our office is currently experiencing an extremely high volume of calls and emails regarding scheduling an appointment to receive a Covid-19 vaccine. Appointments are full for now, and we are not offering a waiting list. When we have an available scheduling page and appointments, we will release a press announcement.
We had a vaccine clinic scheduled only for 1A priority health care, police and first responders at the Surf City Fire Hall on 1/14 & 1/15. Upon Governor Murphy’s announcement Wednesday expanding access, all appointments have been filled by an overwhelming call volume into our office. We accommodated as many eligible individual’s as we had appointments available.
As of January 14, 2021 anyone that live or works in New Jersey over the age of 65 is eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. In addition, adults of any age with underlying conditions are at increased risk of severe illness from the virus that causes Covid-19 are eligible. However, this announcement has inundated local capacities and likely overwhelmed health departments throughout the state.
At this moment we do not have any future clinics scheduled. As our supply and capacity permit’s we will announce any new local opportunities to receive Covid-19 vaccine through a press release, which can be found on our website www.lbihealth.com
Please be aware that our organization will certainly not be the only site to schedule Covid vaccination. Those preregistered with the state will also be notified of locations to schedule an appointment as they become available. The following are several places that may offer appointments when available.
We are doing our best to make sure we serve our community. Thank you for your patience!
