Upper West St Valve Installation - 12/10/20 - 7am. Temporary water shut off. See list of affected water users. 
The City of Oneonta's water department will be installing a water valve on upper West Street, Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 beginning at 7am.
There will be a temporary water shut off at 9:00am until installation is completed. This outage will affect the following residents listed below.
Ravine Parkway North: 25, 24
West Street: 172, 171, 174, 221, 222, 223, 225, 224, 228, 231, 229, 233, 235, 237, 239, 242, 245, 248, 250, 251, 254, 264, 285, 322
SUCO maintenance building
West Street will be closed at College Terrace to Bugbee Road. Local traffic should enter on the College Terrace side of closure.
When water is restored, residents may experience a change in water color or pressure. This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm. Water discoloration should disappear after running a cold-water tap for a few minutes.
