Several car and garage break in on Westside of Alexandria during early morning 1-13-10. Remember to lock your doors.

The Alexandria Police Department continue to receive several calls from citizens and residents in the Bryant, Ash, Fillmore, and Cedar neighborhoods in the City of Alexandria of unknown person or persons entering parked cars and garages and stealing items from vehicles. Most of the cars and garages were unlocked at the time. The nature of the items stolen are small electronics and money. The incidents are believed to have happened between 1:30-4:30 a.m. on January 13th, 2010. Anyone with any information about these incidents are encouraged to call the Alexandria Police Department. We also want to encourage all citizens to lock all doors of their buildings and vehicles. If you see people walking around in your neighborhood in the early morning hours, again please do not hesitate to call the Alexandria Police Department at 320-763-6631.
