CHASE BANK ROBBED--220 N. Beltline Road in Grand Prairie

Press Release

Date: January 13, 2010

Contact: Detective John Brimmer at 972-237-8779 for more information.

Grand Prairie—The Chase Bank at 220 N. Beltline Road in Grand Prairie was robbed today at about 10:40am. The robber is a Hispanic male, about 5’9” to 5’10” weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing a Texas Longhorn sweat shirt and a black and white ball cap.

The suspect handed the teller a note who then handed him money and “dye packs”. The red dye packs erupted after the suspect left the bank and some of the money was recovered in an open field just east of the bank. The suspect should now have some red dye on his hands, shirt, and face.

Since the suspect fled to the North East, it is possible that he may live on that side of town in Grand Prairie. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Grand Prairie Police Department’s Tip Line at 972-237-8877, or Grand Prairie Crime Stoppers at 972-988-8477, or Detective Rick Oseguera at 972-237-8734.
