Hazelwood PD invites you to a MoChip Child ID Event at the LDS Church 6386 Howdershell on 01/23 10AM to 3PM

On 01/23/2010 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Hazelwood Police Department will be partnering with the MoChip organization and the LDS Church at 6386 Howdershell Road for a day of child identification. For those of you who are not familiar with MoChip follow this link for more information www.mochip.org. The MoChip organization's program is undisputedly the best of its kind in the state of Missouri. MoChip has many thousands of dollars invested in equipment for this program, but, they do not charge anything for their service. All information that MoChip collects is fully compatible with the Amber Alert Program and can be directly downloaded into their system very quickly. They also do full dental impressions and non-invasive DNA sampling. There will be about ten stations set up for this event, so it will take less than 20 minutes to help make your family safer. I urge everyone who has a child in their family to attend and take advantage of this free program. Although this service is primarily for children, I would also suggest that people with special needs family members such as Alzheimers, down syndrome or other mental disabilities, regardless of age get this done. Another group that should consider this program is graduating high school and first year college students. How many times in the past couple of years have young people in this age group gone missing while on spring break or senior trips. No one will be turned away regardless of how long it takes to get everyone done. So please share this information with everyone that you know and they do not have to live in Hazelwood to receive this service.
