Harper Woods PD advises you to AVOID E/B I-94 between Moross and Vernier due to black ice conditions. Multiple spinouts and minor accidents on E/B I-94 has resulted in the temporary closure of the freeway pending the arrival of salt trucks.
Alternate routes include Kelly Rd and Mack Ave.
Black ice conditions are reported on several other area roadways. Motorists are asked to slow down and use exteme caution. Freeway will remain closed until around 8:00 AM.
