In response to Wisconsin’s “Safer at Home” Emergency Order #12, the City of Sheboygan closed playgrounds, picnic shelters, park restrooms, team sport activities, and other areas where maintaining appropriate social distancing is difficult. The City of Sheboygan is urging park and trail users to practice social distancing, keep a six-foot distance from other park users, consider wearing fabric face masks, and to not gather in groups.

Currently the skate park in Kiwanis Park and the disc golf course in Jaycee Park are open. These areas are being monitored by city staff. If users do not adhere to the social distancing rule, the city will ultimately make the decision to close these areas. The disc golf course at Vollrath Park will continue to stay closed until further notice.
