Burning Ban
Burning Ban 
As of 5pm today (April 3, 2020) the North Carolina Forest Service has issued a statewide burning ban canceling all burning permits and prohibiting open burning. The Polk County Fire Marshal's Office has also invoked a ban on burning within 100ft of any dwelling.
