Rahway DPW would like to remind all residents to continue to follow the recycling preparation guidelines as listed in the recycling schedule. There has been NO change to the preparation requirements. Bottles and cans MUST NOT be placed in plastic bags for collection. Schedule can be found: http://www.cityofrahway.org
Also, during this crisis, DPW will be sweeping the streets on an every other week schedule. No tickets will be issued during this period. Please do your best to move vehicles on your scheduled day, this will help our operator’s do the best job possible while in your route.
We all look forward to returning to normal operations as quickly as possible and appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience while we all deal with this event.
