On March 29, 2020, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Moorpark Patrol Station contacted Gabriel Marrache, a resident of Moorpark, and arrested him for possession for sales of cocaine and marijuana.

On March 29, 2020, deputies received a call for service of a suspicious vehicle parked in the cul-de-sac located on Queens Court in the City of Moorpark. When responding deputies contacted the driver, later identified as Marrache, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the cabin area of the vehicle. Deputies also observed marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle.

Deputies subsequently conducted a search of the vehicle and located a significant quantity of marijuana and cocaine. Deputies also located paraphernalia indicative of narcotics sales, including a digital scale, small plastic baggies, and cash. Marrache possessed over 400 doses of marijuana and over 70 doses of cocaine.
