Winslow Township would like to remind residents of the temporary suspension of bulk item pick up outside trash toters.

Due to the Covid- 19 outbreak, Waste Management notified all of its customers that effective  Wednesday April 1st, they will temporarily suspend curbside removal of bulk items. This is to ensure continued operations in their core function of sanitary sensitive garbage removal. Garbage, Recycling and yard waste will continue to be picked up as normal. Bulk items such as bags from clean outs, furniture, carpet and other large bulky items which do not fit in the totes will not be picked up due to health concerns of “two man operations” which may lead to future manpower shortages, and to help protect their employees from exposure and to ensure continued operations. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience during this very difficult time.

Winslow Township has also temporarily suspended white goods pick up (for example, refrigerators).

Residents will be notifiied once bulk pick up and white good pick up is restored.
