Incident Summary:
 
Sometime between Sunday night and early Monday morning unknown suspects, stole items from two unlocked vehicles on Hartman and Sestri Lanes and vehicles were stolen on Heather and Inverness Lanes.   Three residents in the area captured on surveillance cameras at least three suspects checking parked vehicles to see if they were unlocked.  In both vehicle thefts, the vehicles were left unlocked with the keys inside.  The video surveillance is being reviewed to help possibly identify the suspects.  Residents are reminded to not leave valuables in their vehicle at night and to lock their doors.  The suspects are seen walking on foot from house to house checking car doors.  It is unknown if all the thefts in this area are related to the same suspects.  There were other auto burglaries reported in the Mountain View Avenue area.  Residents should call the police department if they observe subjects unfamiliar to them walking around in their neighborhood late at night.
