Advisory

Personal Protective Equipment is in short supply. Wayne County Health Department and Wayne County EMA are asking for donations of supplies

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to expand in Illinois, important personal protective equipment has become difficult to obtain. It's critical that we make sure our health care providers have the PPE that they need to care for those affected with the virus.

Due to this shortage, Wayne County EMA has partnered with Wayne County Health Department to accept donations of various PPE from the public. Donated items will be distributed to our responders and hospital.

We are looking for the following items:

N95 masks (even if they show expired)
Face shields
Goggles
Nitrate or latex gloves
Tyvex suits

If you have any of these items and would like to donate them, you can drop them off at Wayne County Health Department Monday - Thursday 8am - noon.

If you have any questions, you can call 842-5166 or send them to [email protected]

Thank you for your time and support.
