Hollister Firefighters Return to Work from Quarantine

Hollister, California – March 30, 2020 – The Hollister Fire Department announced that three Firefighters returned to work today from quarantine.

The Firefighters were exposed on March 16th at a medical call. Quarantine / Medical Surveillance began on March 17th. The Firefighters were cleared to return to duty March 29, 2020.  

Fire Chief Bob Martin Del Campo stated. “As of 0800 this morning the three Firefighters placed on medical surveillance due to confirmed COVID19 exposure have been released to full duty.  The Hollister Fire Department has made this determination by test result conducted, no signs or symptoms, and the duration of self-medical surveillance adhered to. Firefighters dawned the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment prescribed by the CDC.
