On Saturday, March 28, at around 6:40a.m., a man entered the 7 Eleven store located at 800 Diablo Ave, in Novato. The man produced a black handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the store clerk. The man then ordered the clerk to empty both cash registers and he took the money from the clerk while exiting the store towards Center Rd.

The suspect was described as a black male adult, approximately 30-40 years old, 5'5" - 5'8" tall, with a husky build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt which read "Backwoods" across the chest and a black baseball style hat.
The Novato Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect involved in this crime.
