Lane Restrictions On Indian Ripple Road At I-675

Greene County (Monday, March 30, 2020) – Lane restrictions will be in effect this week on Indian Ripple Road in Greene County as part of a four-lane resurfacing and pavement repair project on Interstate 675.

Indian Ripple Road will be reduced to one lane in either direction over I-675, between the Greene Towne Center and Woodcroft Trail, for contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation to begin staging for bridge repair work. Restrictions are scheduled to be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday, and following this, Indian Ripple Road will be reduced to one, 12-foot lane in each direction at the overpass bridge for Phase 1 construction.

The entire project calls for repairing pavement and resurfacing I-675 in Greene County from the Montgomery County line to near North Fairfield Road. The project also includes bridge overlays, approach slabs, and joint work on the mainline and overhead bridges within these limits.

Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone, and all work will be contingent upon the weather. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.

The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for approximately $26.1 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2022.
