The Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force arrests a gang member with loaded gun

- Cruz, Isaac, 22 Year Old Pomona Resident

On Saturday, March 28th, around 7:03 PM, members of the Pomona Police Department's Major Crimes Task Force (MCTF) were working gang suppression within the City of Pomona. Officers were working the west end of the city when they stopped a vehicle for vehicle code violations. During the course of the investigation officers located a loaded firearm in the vehicle. Suspect Cruz took ownership of the firearm. Suspect Cruz is also a known documented Pomona gang member and a convicted Felon.
Suspect Cruz was arrested for the above listed charges and booked at the Pomona City Jail.
