COVID-19 Update from Covington County EMA. 
The Department of Public Health has reported to our office, as of this morning, a resident of Covington County has tested positive for the COVID-19 Virus. For more information contact ADPH at 1.800.270.7268 daily between 7a.m. and 9p.m. or you can contact our office at 334.428.2670.
That being said, we want to encourage all citizens to follow the proclamations issued by the Governor's office and all state public health orders.
Social distancing is the most important recommendation to prevent the spread or contaction of COVID-19.
Continuing to follow these recommendations given by the Alabama Department of Public Health and the CDC, you will highly increase your probabilities to NOT contract COVID-19 an will also not contribute to the spead of the virus.
