RED OAK PD COVID-19 PSA
As we navigate this unprecedented time in history and we all have a front row seat to this dilemma and how it will play out so we must be vigilant. As a first responder, we implore you to please follow the Disaster Declarations and Shelter in place order. We know this is a difficult time and there are many fears to include health issues, financial fears, and social degradation because of these orders. As a mobile society, we must limit movement and retard the spread of this virus. Unlike influenza and the common cold this virus has not developed in its existence anti-bodies to combat it nor is there a vaccine or inoculation to prevent or manage its spread. An insidious virus that wreaks havoc on the respiratory system and causes respiratory failure. Please do your part and help us manage its spread by following the orders established by your city government and allow us to focus our efforts elsewhere and not focus on gain compliance with the order to shelter in place. Thank you for your cooperation and we will prevail if we all do our part.
