March 10th

Auto Burglary – 670 El Cerrito Plaza:
An officer reports an unknown suspect broke a window to the victim’s vehicle and stole property.

March 11th

DUI – San Pablo Ave / Van Fleet Ave:
An officer reports a 47-year-old man was contacted during a collision investigation and determined to have been driving while impaired by alcohol. The man was arrested and later released from the ECPD.

March 12th

Vandalism – Richmond St / Fairmount Ave:
An officer reports an unknown suspect approached the victim asking for money. Not being satisfied with the amount of money he received; the suspect broke the taillight to the victim’s vehicle with a hammer.

Grand Theft – 7100 block of Schmidt Ln:
An officer reports an unknown suspect cut a hole in the fence to a construction yard and stole copper wire. The suspect discarded the wire just outside the fence, which was recovered and returned to the victim.

March 13th:

Battery - Safeway 11450 San Pablo Ave.:
At 4:06 pm, officers responded to the report of a subject fighting with Safeway Loss Prevention. The loss prevention officers detained a subject outside the store, thinking he had stolen items and brought him back to the office where they discovered he didn’t have any stolen property. The subject, a 20-year-old transient, punched one of the store security staff and fled the store. Officers located the subject at the Del Norte BART station. He was placed under citizen’s arrest and released with a citation.

Stolen Vehicle – 5200 block of Cypress Ave:
At 10:09 am, an officer responded to the report of a stolen vehicle. An unknown suspect stole a silver 1997 Acura Integra sometime overnight.
Residential Burglary – 600 block of Colusa Ave.
At 1:16 pm, officers responded to the report of a residential burglary that just occurred. The resident heard their doorbell but didn’t answer. A few minutes later, she heard someone in the backyard. The suspect broke the back window to the residence but didn’t enter the house. The suspect subsequently fled the area.

Stolen Vehicle - 7100 Mound Ave:
At 2:18 pm, an officer responded to the report of a stolen vehicle where an unknown suspect stole a blue 1991Acura Integra sometime overnight.

March 16th

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – Schmidt Lane / Everett Street:
An officer located a stolen Honda CRV which was reported stolen to the ECPD on February 25, 2020.

Battery – 11344 San Pablo Avenue (Denny’s)
An unknown suspect refused to pay for food that he ate, hit one of the employees, and walked out of the business.

Stolen Vehicle Report – 600 block of Liberty Street
An unknown suspect stole the victim's white Ford F-250 between 3:00 pm yesterday and 9:40 am this morning.

Robbery – 11565 San Pablo Avenue (Walgreens)
Two unknown suspects stole frozen food and drinks from the store. The security guard stood in front of the doorway to prevent them from exiting., but the suspects pushed past him.

March 17th

Stolen Vehicle Report – 900 block of Norvell Street
An unknown suspect stole the victim's white Ford F-250 sometime between 11:30 pm last night and 2:30 am this morning.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – Waldo Lane at Everett Street
An officer located a BMW M6 which was reported stolen to the San Francisco Police Department on March 12th.

Vandalism – 400 block of Liberty St.
An unknown group of suspects broke the window to the victim’s vehicle and fled the area.

Auto Burglary – 400 Block of Richmond St.
An unknown suspect broke the window to the victim’s vehicle and stole the ignition key.

Vandalism – 1200 Block of Liberty St:
An unknown suspect broke out a window to the victim’s vehicle on the 17th between 11:00 am and 4:50 pm.

March 18th

Grand Theft – 1300 block of Contra Costa Drive
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s catalytic converter from their Toyota Prius between 6:00 pm yesterday to 7:30 am this morning.

Robbery and Warrant Arrest – 1000 El Cerrito Plaza (Lucky’s)
A 24-year-old male from San Francisco was arrested after he attempted to steal chicken from the store. A Lucky employee attempted to stop him, but the suspect pushed past the employee to exit the store. Lucky employees tackled the suspect and held him down until police arrived. The male was released with a citation.

Theft – 5920 Cutting Blvd (Jack in the Box)
At 7:41 pm, a suspect stole approximately $80.00 from the till when an employee turned away from the open cash register.

Vandalism – 2600 block of Mira Vista Dr.
An unknown suspect threw a rock through a front window of a residence.

Hit and Run Collision – 2200 block of Key Blvd:
At 9:59 pm, three parked vehicles were hit, causing significant damage. The suspect vehicle was located unoccupied and parked on McLaughlin Ave. at Roosevelt St. in the City of Richmond.

Vandalism – 11300 block of San Pablo Ave.
At 3:18 am, officers responded to a burglary in progress. A male subject was on the roof of a building and kicked in a window. With the assistance of a Richmond PD K9, officers detained a 38-year-old male from Richmond. The male stated he thought he had been shot at near the intersections of Lexington Ave. at Blake St., but with further investigation, his story could not be substantiated. The property owner asked that the suspect be told not to return. The suspect was released from the scene.

March 19th

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 295 El Cerrito Plaza (Plaza Coin Laundry):
An officer located the victim’s unoccupied Honda Civic, which was reported stolen to the Oakland Police Department on February 29th.
