Who are You?

No doubt - our lives have been disrupted. Kids are home from school. People are performing jobs in new ways, or are out of work. The things on our calendars have been canceled or postponed.

In the face of a crisis - wildfire, earthquake, flood or virus - who are you?

- Are you banding together to help family, friends or neighbors?
- Are you taking more than your family needs of essential items?
- Are you treating others with patience and kindness?
- Are you spreading rumors or fears?
- Are you placing blame or acting out?
- Are you focusing on yourself or the greater good?

We ask that you be aware of your affect on others. Do not spread inaccurate information or rumors, as it causes unnecessary fear and undermines recovery efforts.

Meanwhile, we hope this challenging time will inspire you to be kind, considerate, comforting and sensitive to one another regardless of race, religion, national origin, sex, ability, etc. This is an opportunity to be reminded of what is truly important, and to be creative, brave, and stand in support of one another - with 6’ social distancing, of course!
