Advisory

El Dorado County, including the City of Placerville, has issued a Shelter in Place Directive effective March 20, 2020, at 12 Noon.

El Dorado County Public Health Officer Dr. Nancy Williams has issued a Shelter In Place Directive effective tomorrow at noon. The City of Placerville is included as part of the directive. This will help to prevent the spread of the #coronavirus and protect our community. You may still go to the grocery store and get food, restaurants will still provide take out meals. Do not call 9-1-1 if you see people walking outside. It is permitted to be outside, just limit your exposure. Common sense needs to prevail. Don't forget to check on your friends and family. Keep in contact with loved ones that live alone so they don't feel lonely. Placerville PD will continue to respond to emergency calls and keep our community safe by providing extra patrols.
