* At 406 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Rend Lake Area, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Mount Vernon, Fairfield, Mcleansboro, Wayne City, Bluford, Dahlgren, Jeffersonville, Belle Rive, Ewing, Sims, Keenes and Belle Prairie City. This includes Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 82 and 109.
