The Jekyll Island Authority is actively monitoring developments and information surrounding COVID-19’s (coronavirus) potential impact on travel to and around Jekyll Island, as the health and safety of our residents and visitors is a top priority. 

While there are no current restrictions or advisories for travel or vacationing to the area or within the state of Georgia, please be advised of operational changes or closures to restaurants and businesses in the area as follows:

Ameris Bank Jekyll Island
Beginning Friday, March 20, lobby services will be closed until further notice. Business operational hours remain Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Jekyll Island location will continue offering deposit services through the night depository and check cashing services can be utilized at the Brunswick, St. Mary’s and St. Simons Island drive-thru lanes.

Customers who need immediate access to cash are encouraged to utilize the ATM located outside of the Jekyll Island branch. Business customers needing currency or coin orders should call 912-635-6539. Customers may also call this number to make an appointment to conduct business requiring physical access to the facility.

Additionally, customers can access their accounts through Mobile, On-Line Banking, and the ATM.

Jekyll Island Club Resort Properties
The Wharf, Grand Dining Room & Lobby Bar at the Island Club are temporarily closed.

The Pantry at the Island Club is open for takeout service, including beer and wine, from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily.

Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar at the Ocean Club is open for takeout service, from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily. The Bar is temporarily closed.

The Jekyll Island Club Resort Island-wide shuttle service is temporarily suspended.

Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island Properties
Beginning today, March 19, The Anchor will operate from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturdays for cocktails and beverages but food will not be available for purchase.

Beach House will continue to operate under its winter hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weeknights. The restaurant will also offer to-go and curbside dining.

The Westin Jekyll Island Properties
Beginning Monday, March 23, the Reserve Restaurant and Harry’s Lounge will be closed until further notice.

The Westin Café will open 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily for breakfast with limited menu for pick up and take out only.

Salty’s Pool Bar & Grill will open 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily for lunch and dinner with limited menu for pick up and take out only.
